That's not too bad I suppose, but it's still with that anemic engine instead of the Ecoboost we were hoping for so I'm not sure how well that'll sell in North America.

I know nothing about foreign truck prices, but since this Raptor is priced 20K more than the Wildtrak...........not good when reaches North America.

How Much Might the Ford Ranger Raptor Cost in the U.S.? - The Drive

Ford would sell a pile of these if priced in upper 30s

Glad to see that the U.S model should be priced much more reasonably than it has been in foreign markets. Those inflated costs are also due to the fact that Ford has never offered this performance trim in those markets before.

Its easy to see how they need to price it which is with in the current segment constraints. Right now the Tacoma being one of the best selling sits at $25,200 to start. IMO Ford needs to target that as much as they can.

Well you cant compare the base Tacoma to the Ranger Raptor. If you're going to look at a price point they should match on, then it would have to be the TRD variant of the Tacoma which starts closer to $40k.

Not just TRD.........TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road. TRD PRO specifically.

Overall they do meet at every price target range every trim. Ultimately it will come down to what an individual buyer wants.

I hope something from Toyota's GRMN division makes it into the pick up's, might give Ford a reason to do more.
