Close look/ walkaround

Autoblog has posted up an overview of the new Ranger Raptor and what Ford has modified over the base models. Still hoping that this variant makes it's way stateside in the next few years.

More coverage of what a next generation Ranger Raptor could improve on will help, especially with Autoblog appealing to the American community.

Not only would the Ranger Raptor compete with the F150 Raptor in the U.S, but don't forget about the upcoming Bronco as well. Ford is just taking the appropriate steps to prevent cannibalizing sales of other models.

I have a hard time believing that's the case when SUV sales show no slowing down. It all comes down to an old platform, T6.

The platform is tried and true, Ford has just been a bit too aggressive with how they've chosen to price the RR. At least sales overseas will allow them to determine what adjustments need to be made to the equipment and powertrain.

The other possibility is this has something to do with the 2020 Ford F-150 and the new changes it'll bring to other Ford utility products.
